State Museum of Popular Art
The life of the Museum began in 1905 when Don Manuel Guzman, a resident of San Bartolo Coyotepec donated a plot of land to become a Cultural Center. In 1994 a group of young people started the task of starting with the remodeling of the cultural center and turning it into a museum. In 2002, because of the creation of the new museum premises, the collections were removed and restored, reopening in 2004. The architectural construction is modern in style, the interior pieces stand out with the great finish of their floor and roof, has two floors and a terrace from which you can see part of the population, the municipal park and the church. | |||||
